Today, we finally sent in the paperwork for Khaysia's passport. Yes, we leave for Puerto Vallarta next month! In order to make sure we had it in time we had to pay and expedite fee of $80 *grrr*.
I was kinda sad because her passport photos were not all that cute. I dressed her in the cutest outfit (thanks grannie starr!) , fixed her hair and made sure she was all rested. At Costco, she was a bundle of laughs -- but when it was time for the photo attendant to take her photo she kept smiling AFTER the flash. After I made her re-take the picture 3 times: once while tickling her, another while wiggling her favorite toy, I figured "Oh Well - can't go no further here".
So the photo on her passport is some sort of mean scowl -- and she will have to keep that for quite some time. When we get her passport back - I will scan it in so you can see it.

I so badly wish I could take part in the swimming lessons with you. Keep me posted on how things are going and take lots of pics of her in her swim attire.
