She must be growing...

Khaysia is such a good sleeper. She even came home from the hospital sleeping 4 hour intervals. When she was three months old Kamal and I began “Baby Boot Camp” which taught her to sleep in her bed and that her bedtime is at 9:00pm. We have reaped the benefits ten-fold because now we rarely have any issues with bedtime. If she does wake up crying, I instantly know something is wrong…most likely a massive poopy diaper that is preventing her from drifting into dreamland.

I realize I am a fortunate mother because Khaysia sleeps through the night (she has been since about 4 mos). In the morning, I wake her to eat at 6:30a or 7a then put her back to bed. Usually, she will continue to sleep to 10:00 or 10:30 – I have even seen her play with her stuffed bear until she falls asleep on the video cam.

But this past week, she has been sleeping and eating so much! Her naps are twice as long, and as soon as she wakes up –she is ready to go to sleep again. She has been gobbling full jars of baby food plus dessert! Last night, I put her in her crib at 8:00pm because she was so tired she was being a little crab apple *smile*.

Having just received a clean bill of health from her 9 month check-up, the only thing I can deduce is that she must be growing.
