Kamal and Khaysia came and got me for lunch today -- and we went to our favorite sushi spot, Rikki Rikki. It has become quite apparent that Khaysia LOVES to eat out just as much as her parents -- even if she is only eating baby food *LOL*. Perhaps its all the intriguing people that she gets to see while we are in the restaurant.
Whenever we take her out, she does whatever it takes to get a smile from her audience. Today, she kept looking to the right and smiling her big toothless smile. "What on earth are you smiling at?" I asked her (not expecting her to respond, of course). At that moment, I realized she had befriended the sushi chef and kept flashing him her infamous grin. He was more than happy to oblige by giving her a big smile in return -- although his had teeth.
I may regret saying this in a few years, but eating out with Khaysia is a lot of fun.
