Funny Story

Khaysia is learning so much these days. I have been teaching her the parts of her face (eyes, nose, mouth, ears, etc). Being an eager beaver, she will try to repeat what I say.

The other day, when I was teaching her "Eyes" -- she actually pointed to my eye... but acidentally poked it. It surprised me, and I said: "Ow". She paused...and looked at me for a moment. Then pointed to my eye and said: "oooowwwwwww" reminiscent of E.T. in one of my favorite childhood movies. It was so cute!

I had nearly forgotten about this, until yesterday when Kamal comes to me, laughing while explaining how Khaysia poked him in the eye and said: "ooooooowwwwww".

So now, if you say "Ow" around our little munchkin, she will poke you in the eye and unintentionally do a very funny E.T. impression.
