A few months back, my darling husband told me that he wanted to take a trip -- with just me. When he told me this, swallowed slowly and tried to imagine what it would be like without my little Starr -- but when I looked in his eyes I knew that it was something that we needed to do to reconnect.
While a cruise to Puerto Rico will be amazing, I am extremely saddened at the thought of not being with my little one. Don't get me wrong, I can be (and have been) without her...but only during the day. I have always been with my munchkin at night.
So today is my last day with Khaysia. *sniff*
She will be going with her grandparents for ten days while Kamal and I experience a trip without her. Well, Kamal has had several weeklong trips alone...but this will be my first.
That which doesn't kill us makes us stronger........right?
*whimper*
